Scot Action Fund
The
Young Scot Action Fund is all about helping young people help
themselves, help others, or help the wider community by turning
their bright ideas into action.
What
is the funding for?
To
financially help towards the evolution of ideas such as ;
Helping
Yourself
- Going
on a course
- Setting
up your own business
Help
Others
- Organise
an outing for housebound people
- Working
with people with disabilities
- Setting
up an information café for young people
Help
Your Own Community
- Clearing
a nearby river
- Producing
a local newsletter
- Organising
a community event
How
much money is available?
Up to £200 for individuals and up to £750
for groups, six times a year.
Who
can apply?
Both individuals,
aged between 15 - 26 years of age, and members of the Young
Scot organisation. For group applications, at least two-thirds
of the group must be aged 15-26.
