Community
Tree Planting Fund 2005/6
What
is the funding for?
The Woodland Trust is offering grants for community tree planting
initiatives for the winter of 2005/6. If your community is
holding a tree planting event this winter we can offer funding
to help carry out the project. Their grant will cover costs
directly related to the tree planting project such as the
purchase of native trees, purchase of other tree planting
materials and publicity costs.
How
much money is available?
Each group can apply for one grant of up to £100 for
a tree planting event. If you are organising more than one
event you can apply for another grant, although the application
would have to be made in a different quarter.
Who
can apply?
Community groups, associations and non profit making organisations.
When
to apply
Applications need to be submitted by 31st January 2006.
