Voluntary
Action Fund
The Voluntary
Action Fund (formally UVAF) provides grants to local voluntary
organisations in Scotland, encouraging people to do something
valuable in their own communities.
Volunteering
Scotland Grant Scheme
What
is the funding for?
The scheme aims to improve the lives of individuals and their
communities through volunteering. It will support imaginative,
new projects that:
• Develop new volunteering opportunities for people
from disadvantaged groups
• Offer a comprehensive approach to volunteer recruitment,
training and support.
• Will help individual volunteers develop their talents,
skills and confidence.
• Will be of lasting benefit to the funded organisation.
• Contribute to a meaningful local service or initiative
that makes a lasting difference to the community.
How
much money is available?
Grants will be available to a maximum of £35,000 per
year for a maximum period of three years.
Who
can apply?

to local, grass roots organisations that will benefit most
