UIA Charitable Foundation

The UIA Charitable Foundation is a small grant making trust established to provide financial support to organisations that help people in need.

What is the funding for?
The preferred areas of funding are:
• Support of people living in poverty
• Promotion of human rights
• Provision of human aid
• Overseas development
• Support for the victims of drug and alcohol addiction
• Support for homeless people
The Foundation will particularly support those charities that take positive action on important social issues that may not otherwise be addressed.

How much money is available?
Each application is judged on its’ own merit.

Who can apply?
Any registered charity or formally constituted voluntary organisation.

When to apply
At any time. Committee meetings are held quarterly and only 50 applications are considered each time.
