The
Tudor Trust
The Tudor
Trust was founded in 1955 by Sir Godfrey Mitchell with a gift
of shares in the building company, George Wimpey.
What
is the funding for?
The Trust wishes to support groups with charitable objectives
who are involved in addressing problems in the following areas:
• Youth
• Older people
• Community
• Relationships
• Housing
• Mental Health
• Substance misuse
• Learning
• Financial security
• Criminal justice
Applications will be considered for core costs, project costs
and building and equipment costs. Funding may initially be
for a period of up to three years and alternative finance
schemes, such as loans, can be considered.
Who
can apply?
From 1st April 2005 to 31st March 2006 the Trust will only
consider applications from organisation which have been awarded
a grant by the Tudor Trust in the previous five years. The
reasoning for this is that the Trust will be 50 in March 2005
and during this Golden Jubilee Year they have decided to review
their previous work whilst concentrating on developing plans
for April 2006 onwards.
When
to apply?
At any time.
