Thanks
to the generosity of several anonymous donors, the Tree Council
has, once again, funds available to assist with community
tree planting projects.
Community
Trees Fund 2007
What
is the funding for?
The fund will provide assistance for community tree planting
projects, which should actively involve children.
How
much money is available?
The fund is open to projects where tree planting costs are
between £100 and £700. The grant will be limited
to a maximum of 75% of the costs actually incurred,
and the amount actually offered is at the discretion of the
Tree Council grant allocation committee. Your group must be
able to provide evidence that you are able to meet the remaining
25% of the cost. Retrospective applications will not be considered.
Who
can apply?
Any formal group such as the cubs, guides or a youth club,
or a more informal community group set up for the purposes
of this project.

The closing date for applications is 31st May 2007
