Funding

Tree Council

Thanks to the generosity of several anonymous donors, the Tree Council has, once again, funds available to assist with community tree planting projects.

Community Trees Fund 2007

What is the funding for?
The fund will provide assistance for community tree planting projects, which should actively involve children.

How much money is available?
The fund is open to projects where tree planting costs are between £100 and £700. The grant will be limited to a maximum of 75% of the costs actually incurred, and the amount actually offered is at the discretion of the Tree Council grant allocation committee. Your group must be able to provide evidence that you are able to meet the remaining 25% of the cost. Retrospective applications will not be considered.

Who can apply?
Any formal group such as the cubs, guides or a youth club, or a more informal community group set up for the purposes of this project.

When to apply
The closing date for applications is 31st May 2007

How to apply
Application forms are available from The Tree Council, 71 Newcomen Street, London, SE1 1YT or can be downloaded from here and then posted to the previous address.
