What
is the funding for?
This award has been established to provide modest funding
for projects planned and undertaken by young people in Scotland,
which will benefit the community as a whole. The award also
assists in the provision of play equipment to Playgroups and
Mother and Toddler groups. Examples of community services
already funded include: “Pet Care” for the elderly,
redecoration and gardening schemes and providing activities
for under privileged children. Subject to availability, a
percentage of funds may be allocated to young people undertaking
voluntary work overseas.
How
much money is available?
The maximum grant available for any one project is £500
Who
can apply?
Anyone under the age of 25 years. You can apply on your own
or as a group, but it is not essential to be a member of a
club or organisation.
