Scottish Silver Jubilee and Children’s Bursary Fund

What is the funding for?
This award has been established to provide modest funding for projects planned and undertaken by young people in Scotland, which will benefit the community as a whole. The award also assists in the provision of play equipment to Playgroups and Mother and Toddler groups. Examples of community services already funded include: “Pet Care” for the elderly, redecoration and gardening schemes and providing activities for under privileged children. Subject to availability, a percentage of funds may be allocated to young people undertaking voluntary work overseas.

How much money is available?
The maximum grant available for any one project is £500

Who can apply?
Anyone under the age of 25 years. You can apply on your own or as a group, but it is not essential to be a member of a club or organisation.

When to apply
At any time.
