The
Royal Bank of Scotland, have two staff schemes - 'double-matched'
Give As You Earn and Community Cashback -that
supports RBS employees' giving, be it their
time, effort, skills or cash.
What
is the funding for?
Community
Cashback - If you can persuade
members of staff from either RBS or RBS group companies (e.g.
NatWest, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Direct Line, Churchill,
Ulster Bank, The One Account) to support your activity - as
fundraisers, as volunteers or as payroll givers, RBS group
will back their commitment with cash.
Many
staff are generous with their time, effort and skills, making
a contribution to their communities in all kinds of ways;
as sports coaches, mentors, committee or PTA members, school
governors, youth leaders or treasurers, for example.
How
much money is available?
From
£100 to £1,000. (The
amount depends on how the member of staff help their good
cause and whether they do that as an individual or with a
team of work colleagues).
Who
can apply?
Employees
of the RBS who give up their time in this way
to help local community groups, schools or charities can apply
for a Community Cashback Award for
their organisation.

The Bank is establishing a database in which the employees
can view, internally, to find out which organisations are
registered. But to broaden the scope to the large group companies
