The Prince’s
Scottish Youth Business Trust is a unique organisation, set
up as part of the nationwide Prince’s Trust.
What is
the funding for?
The
aim of the P.S.Y.B. Trust is to provide finance and professional
support for 18 to 25 year olds, in Scotland, who are otherwise
of limited means, to set up and run their own business. The
Trust has particular concern for disadvantaged young people.
They can offer:
* A low interest
loan of up to £5,000
* In some cases a grant of up to £1,000
* A pre-start test marketing grant of up to £250
* Development funding to expand your business of up to £25,000

* Access to pre-start training and advice
* A business advisor for at least two years
* Book Keeping training and a free book keeping system
* Access to business competitions
* Opportunities to attend exhibitions
* PR opportunities
* Networking opportunities with other young businesses
How much
money is available?
