Stewardship Fund
Established
in 1999, The Crown Estate's Marine Stewardship Fund has already
contributed to a wide range of practical projects around the
coast.
What
is the funding for?
The Crown
Estate's Marine Stewardship Fund helps to fund projects and
initiatives that can:
• improve and increase public awareness and understanding
of marine issues
• promote conservation and good management of marine
and coastal
resources
• enable more people to enjoy the UK's coastline and
coastal waters
• contribute to regeneration opportunities for coastal
communities
• Introduce new approaches to sustainable use of the
marine environment

Due to a high number of applications they no longer operate
a rolling programme. Funding for 2009/10 has been allocated
and the closing date for applications for 2010/2011 was January
2010. If you wish to be kept in touch with new applications
