Foundation for Scotland is one of the largest, independent
grant-making trusts in Scotland.

Grant Scheme
What is
the funding for?
From January 2006 to December 2008 the Foundation
will be looking at projects that will be targeted at disadvantaged
or marginalised groups. Priority will be given to initiatives
that:
- address poverty
- reduce isolation
- promote family
welfare
- increase life
skills
- promote citizenship
and social responsibility
- empower under-represented
or socially excluded groups
- promote independence
- de-stigmatise
and challenge prejudice
Support is available
for new initiatives as well as established services or projects
and funding is available for
two or three years in addition to the one year coverage. To
cover such costs such as
capital and running costs,
including salaries, etc.
How much
money is available?
Grants
will be awarded at two levels: up to £2500
and over £2500
Awards are
made on merit.
Who can
apply?
Any registered charity located within Scotland that
is focused on improving the quality of life and creating equality
of opportunity for people in Scotland.
When to
apply
At
any time. Applications are considered at board meetings held
six times a year.
