Grant Scheme
This fund has just been relaunched after temporary
closure. In 2010 their main grant programme has been named
the 'Henry Duncan Awards' in honour of The Rev'd Henry Duncan
who funded the first Trustee Savings Bank - which ultimately
led to the establishment of the Foundation - 200 years ago
this year. (They also run a Capacity
Building Scheme)
What is the funding for?
For grassroots charities operating in Scotland
which are clearly focused on improving the quality of life
of people who are disadvantaged or who are at risk of becoming

How much is available?
No maximum given
Who can apply?
Registered Charities with an income of less
than £500,000 per annum.
When to apply?
First round closes on May 24th 2010 with further
rounds in July and September, dates to be announced.
