What is the funding for?
The Girls on the Move Leadership Programme provides opportunities
for young women aged 16 – 24 to gain leadership skills.
Applicants do not have to be skilled or experienced in sport
or dance but must have an enthusiasm for physical activity
and must be interested in becoming a leader within their own
community, youth group or school.
Girls
on the Move organises leadership courses all over Scotland.
They are usually residential and run over the course of 2
days or 5 days.
How
much money is available?
Successful applicants will be sent on a training course organised
by the Programme where the following costs will be funded:
• Accommodation and catering costs

Participants will be asked to make a commitment of £20
each towards the course and will have to pay for their own
