The
Foundation for Sports and the Arts
The Foundation
for Sports and the Arts was established in 1991 and distributes
funds generated by Littlewoods Gaming to a wide range of causes
within Sports and the Arts throughout the UK.
What
is the funding for?
The aim of the Foundation is to increase active participation
in sports and the arts, especially among young people and
those with more ability than resources. They look to support
activities that will be of benefit to the community as a whole.
How
much money is available?
The maximum grant has been set at £75,000, although
the practical maximum in most cases is around £35,000
to £40,000 and the Foundation intend to aim lower than
this in most cases.
Who
can apply?
Most socially inclusive sports will be considered with the
exclusion of professional football and horse racing. Support
for the Arts covers a wide spectrum of activity.
When

At any time. Applications will be considered as and when they
are submitted.
