Community Radio Fund
This
fund is administered via Ofcom.
What
is the funding for?
To help
fund core running costs of a community radio station. Which
could include: management, administration, financial management
and reporting, fundraising, community outreach, volunteer
organisation and support.
How
much money is available?
There is no limit to how much can be applied for.
However, the Panel asks applicants to take note of previous
grant awards for an indication of realistic award figures.
Grants will be made as a single ‘lump sum’.
Who
can apply?
Community Radio Licensees who are broadcasting under a community
radio licence. Not - for - profit radio stations.
When
to apply
In 2010 Applications will be invited in April 2010,
with a closing date in May 2010. Dates to be confirmed.
The Panel will meet to make decisions on these applications
on 28 June 2010.
