This is a joint
programme set up to help small groups access lottery funds.
It involves the following lottery fund distributors: Big Lottery
Fund, sportscotland and the Scottish Arts Council
What is
the funding for?
To enable people to take part in art, sport and community
activities, and projects that promote education, the environment
and health in the local community.
They can
fund a wide range of activities through the Programme and
want to support projects that meet their outcomes which are:.
1. People
have better chances in life.
2. Communities are safer, stronger and more able to work together
to tackle inequalities.
3. People have better and more sustainable services and environments.
4. People and communities are healthier.
How
much money is available?
Between £500 and £10,000.
Who
can apply?
* You are a not-for-profit/voluntary and community
sector group, community council, school or health body with
an annual income of less than £20,000..
* You have a bank account requiring at least 2 unrelated people
to sign cheques or make withdrawals.
* You have a management committee of 3 or more unrelated members.
* You can spend the grant within 1 year.
When
to apply
At any time. A decision will be made within 6weeks of application.
