This is an organisation
set up by Aberdeenshire Council which considers grant applications
from talented individuals and from clubs and organisations
whose aims are in line with those of the Aberdeenshire Council
Arts Plan.
Project
Support Grants
What is
the funding for?
To
help established arts groups to undertake challenging new
work, especially if it encourages art to be made by and for
the local community, involves multi-media , or encourages
links between local groups and regional or national organisations.
For example: A national performing arts company collaborating
with a local group, or an arts residency within the local
community.
How much
money is available?
Up
to £1,000 to cover up to 50% of costs, although in exceptional
circumstances it may cover up to 100%.
Who can
apply?
Any
properly constituted arts group based in Aberdeenshire North.
When to
apply
At any time. Decisions are made approximately every two months.
Only one
Project Support Grant will be made to a group per financial
year. If in receipt of a Project Support Grant the same group
will be unable to apply for a Programme Support Grant within
the same financial year.
