Programme
Support Grant - Guarantee Against Loss
What is
the funding for?
Guarantees against loss are available
to underwrite a wide range of arts events that may involve
an element of financial risk when calculating expected income
against expenditure. A guarantee against loss provides security
by underwriting a reasonable short-fall.
This award aides the work of local arts promoters, particularly
voluntary organisations. Support is offered for one-off and
annual events, as well as for the promotion of a series of
events. It is expected that these grants will support new
and ambitious programming. eg local
folk festival, annual arts exhibition
How much
money is available?
Up
to £1,000 to cover up to 50% of costs. In exceptional
circumstances the award may cover 100%of costs.
Who can
apply?
Properly constituted
community groups in north Aberdeenshire.
When to
apply
At any time. Only one Programme Support Grant will be made
to a group per financial year. The same group will not be
eligible for a Project Support Grant within the same financial
year.
