Aberdeenshire Sports
Council is an independent body set up in 1996 by Aberdeenshire
Council, to represent sporting clubs and organisations and
is today one of the most progressive and active sports councils
in the country.
Individual
Grants
What is
the funding for?
To assist talented individuals in the pursuit of
performance and excellence.
How much
money is available?
If
the individual is selected to attend district or regional
squads/teams, the maximum grant per year is £100. If
they are selected and are representing a national team in
the U.K., the maximum grant is £200, and if they are
selected and are representing a national team abroad, the
maximum grant is £300 per year.
Who can
apply?
Talented
individuals who are affiliated to the Aberdeenshire Sports
Council and resident in Aberdeenshire. Also eligible, are
students whose parents reside in Aberdeenshire. All applicants
must have a letter from the Governing Body of Sport confirming
their selection to the appropriate level of attainment.
When to
apply
At any time.
