Aberdeenshire Sports Council

Aberdeenshire Sports Council is an independent body set up in 1996 by Aberdeenshire Council to represent sporting clubs and organisations, and is today, one of the most progressive and active sports councils in the country.

Event Grants

What is the funding for?
To assist sports clubs with the costs of hosting prestigious events and competitions of a higher standard than the clubs’ normal fixtures or events.

How much money is available?
A maximum grant of £200 per year or 50% of the costs, whichever is the lesser.

Who can apply?
Any sporting clubs who are properly constituted and affiliated to Aberdeenshire Sports Council.

When to apply
At any time.
