Aberdeenshire Sports
Council is an independent body set up in 1996 by Aberdeenshire
Council to represent sporting clubs and organisations and
is today one of the most progressive and active sports councils
in the country.

Grants
What is
the funding for?
For financial assistance with development projects
such as:
- purchase of items of equipment for developing clubs and
their activities
- sport for disabled people
- promoting sport in the community e.g. club open days,coaching
workshops, efestivals and mini-games
How much
money is available?
A
maximum grant of £500 per year or 50% of the costs,
whichever is the lesser.
Who can
apply?
Any
properly constituted club or team in Aberdeenshire who are
affiliated to the Aberdeenshire Sports Council.
When to
apply
At any time.
