Aberdeenshire Sports
Council is an independent body set up to represent sporting
clubs and organisations in 1996 by Aberdeenshire Council and
is today one of the most progressive and active sports councils
in the country.
Coaches,
Officials, Administrators and Education Grants
What is
the funding for?
To
help towards the costs of National Governing Body Awards,
National Coaching Foundation courses, Scottish Vocational
Qualifications and other recognised workshops and seminars
directly relevant to coaching and sports development.
How much
money is available?
A
maximum grant of £200 per individual per year or 50%
of the costs, whichever is the lesser.
Who can
apply?
Applicants must be resident within the Aberdeenshire
Council area. Individuals whose application is endorsed by
their club and applicants who are seeking to obtain professional
qualifications that will enable them to teach sports or recreational
activities for regular payment.
