a total population of 227,200. Aberdeenshire Council is the
overall administrative body, providing a wide range of essential
services to the people living within its’ boundaries.

What is
the funding for?
Either
to assist new organisations to get off the ground or for existing
organisations to make a step change in their development.
This is envisaged to take between one and three years, after
which applicants must show how they will become sustainable
and self funding.
How much
money is available?
Amount
is limited by budget available at time of application.
Who can
apply?
Voluntary
and community groups who are properly constituted and comply
with the following conditions:
- the group is
run on a non-profit making basis
- there must be
a valid constitution indicating the voluntary or charitable
status - of the organisation
- must be able
to demonstrate that membership of the organisation is open
to - all members of the community
with no discrimination
- the organisation
must be financially sound and have a bank account
- must be able
to demonstrate the sustainability of the organisation
When to
apply
Applications are dealt with on a quarterly basis. Current
