Aberdeenshire is a predominantly rural area covering 2428 square miles and with a population of 227,200. Aberdeenshire Council is the overall administrative body, providing a wide range of essential services to the people living within its boundaries.

Area Initiatives

What is the funding for?
This funding is available to support community groups with projects that will be of wide and visible benefit. Priority will be given to those schemes highlighted by Planning for Real® and to material and equipment costs needed to support voluntary efforts.

How much money is available?
Up to £5000 or up to 80% of the total project costs.

Who can apply?
Any community group within Buchan.
