Abbey National Charitable Trust
The Trust was set
up in 1990. It is funded partly from annual grants from Abbey
National and partly from income from endowment funds given
by the company to the trust.
What is
the funding for?
The
trust is committed to helping disadvantaged people to live
fuller lives, whether by improving employment prospects or
improving access to leisure facilities.
How much
money is available?
The
Trust operates three programmes:
- Major donations
in the range of £5,000 to £20,000
- Intermediate
donations of between £1,000 and £5,000
- Minor donations
of between £100 and £1,000
Who can
apply?
Applications
from registered charities or organisations with charitable
status will be considered. The Trustees favour smaller charities.
