Scotland Community Engagement Fund
The Community Engagement
Fund aims to help community based projects that have Zero
Waste aims.The
key areas that may qualify are as follows:
Waste Prevention
and Reduction
Food Waste
Recycling
Litter
What is
the funding for?
The funding could provide funds to buy resources
such as leaflets or equipment, and helping with the cost of
training. Resources include leaflets and other communication
materials as well as display materials. Training Needs will
be those identified by your group to help support the reduction
of waste as well as the increase of recycling and re-use.
This could be attendance at a pre-existing training course
or something bespoke you have identified that will meet the
needs of your group.
Funded groups will need to demonstrate value for money and
show robust evidence of behaviour change.
How much
money is available?
The funding should help to expand your existing project
or help to set up a new one. The maximum allocation per group
is £10,000. Therefore, more than one project could be
funded up to the maximum allocation.
What won’t be funded? Anything that
isn’t a resource or training needs. For example, staff
time, office hire and other day-to-day running costs.
