Your Heritage
provides grants of between £3,000 and £50,000
to support projects that relate to the local, regional or
national heritage of the UK. They welcome applications which
relate to learning,conservation and participation that help
people to learn about, look after and celebrate heritage in
a fun and enjoyable way.Projects for over £50,000 would
apply to the Heritage
Grants fund.
What
is the funding for?
To receive
a grant your project must:
help people learn about their own and other people's heritage
plus it must conserve the UK's diverse heritage for present
and future generations to experience and enjoy and/or help
more people, and a wider range of people, to take an active
part in and make decisions about heritage.
Heritage
includes many different things from the past that we value
and want to pass on to future generations, from people's memories
and experiences to historic buildings and natural habitats.
How
much money is available?
Between
£3,000 and £50,000
Who
can apply?
Applications
can be from single organisations and partnerships. They give
priority to not-for-profit organisations and partnerships.
If private owners are involved they expect the public benefit
to be greater than any private gain.
When
to apply?
Your Heritage
is a rolling programme and there are no deadlines for applications.
You will receive a decision on your application within 10
weeks from themreceiving your fully filled-in application.
How
to apply
If you
believe that your project meets the criteria for this grant,
complete and submit the pre-application
form online to receive further help on applying for a
grant.
They strongly
recommend that you read the application introduction and help
notes before sending in a preapplication enquiry.
