July 2008 the Clydesdale Bank launched the Yorkshire and Clydesdale
Bank Foundation to continue its tradition of supporting people
and their local communities.
What
is the funding for?
Their
key areas of focus are:
* The
advancement of environmental protection or improvement
* The advancement of citizenship through initiatives that
support and promote volunteering
* The advancement of financial education including initiatives
that promote accessibility to both financial education and
financial services
* The advancement of community development through initiatives
that build and strengthen the communities in which they operate.
Activities should take place inside their Beneficial Area
(areas covered by branches of the Bank, Financial Solutions
Centres, HQ locations)
Project expenses will be prioritised rather than direct salary
expenses
How

Who
can apply?
Wherever
possible, applications from registered charities or not-for-profit
organisations, community and voluntary sector organisations
will take priority over applications from individuals, political
or religious organisations
