The
Prince's Countryside Fund
The
fund, instigated by the Prince of Wales, aims to improve the
sustainability of British farming and rural communities.
What
is the funding for?
The
Prince’s Countryside Fund has three goals:
•To
improve the sustainability of British farming and rural communities,
targeting the areas of greatest need;
•To reconnect consumers with countryside issues; and
•To support farming and rural crisis charities through
a dedicated emergency funding stream
How much money is available?
The total
amount of funding available in this round of funding will
be up to £250,000. The maximum level of funding for
individual projects will be £50,000.
Decisions
on which projects will be funded are made by the Fund’s
independent Board of Trustees.
Who
can apply?
Applications will be accepted from organisations
but not from individuals or statutory bodies.
When
to apply
applications open and close at different times during
the year and there is usually only a window of one month to
