Social
Investment Scotland (SIS) is a unique partnership between
Scotland's four biggest banks and the voluntary and public
sectors.
What
is the funding for?
SIS
provides loan finance and business support to social economy
organisations who are unable to raise any or all of the loan
finance they need from normal commercial sources.
How
much money is available?
Who
can apply?
Organisations may apply to SIS for a loan provided their activities
have a strong social purpose which benefits disadvantaged
or vulnerable groups. Potential SIS borrowers may or may not
have charitable status and will be "more than profit"
organisations.
