Repair Grants for Places of Worship (part of HLF)

This grant is part of the Heritage Lottery Fund programme. Full details of other programmes can be found on the Heritage Lottery Page.

What is the funding for?

This scheme funds urgent repairs that are needed to keep places of worship structurally stable and watertight. They will not consider applications for other work (including proposals for new facilities, kitchens and toilets) for a grant under this scheme

How much money is available?

£10,000 to £250,000

Who can apply?

Applications can be from single organisations and partnerships. They give priority to not-for-profit organisations and partnerships. If private owners are involved they expect the public benefit to be greater than any private gain.

31 August

Decisions about first ground grants will be made within about six months of receiving your application.
