Hamlyn Foundation
Open
Programme
As
an independent grant making body, they fund organisations
whose charitable activities help people to realise their potential
and have a better quality of life.
What
is the funding for?
There
are three programmes: Arts, Education and Learning and Social
Justice.
Arts
Programme: The programme supports the development
and dissemination of new ideas to increase people's experience,
enjoyment and involvement in the arts. The funding will benefit
organisations and groups through the open grants scheme and
special initiatives, The Open Grants Scheme supports innovative
ways for people to enjoy, experience and be involved in the
arts across all art forms. They remain particularly interested
in young people, including initiatives involving families,
carers and communities
More information on specific details can be found here.
Education
and Learning: The programme's objective is to support
innovative ways of increasing the learning opportunities of
people within the UK. The Open Grants Scheme funds the development,
implementation and dissemination of new ideas that have the
potential to achieve significant and long-term impact and
lead to changes in practice or policy within the wider sector
in which the applicant organisation operates. More information
on specific details can be found here.
Social
Justice: The programme aims to help
marginalised individuals and communities within the UK become
integrated. They see integration as a two-way process in which
society at large and specific communities adapt, understand
and benefit.
The scheme funds the development, implementation and dissemination
of new ideas to help the integration of marginalised young
people in times of transition. More information on specific
details can be found here.
