Paths
for All
The
launch of the Paths for All Grant Fund to support Walking
for Health in Scotland.
What
is the funding for?
PFA
funds projects in order to improve Scotland's health through
the delivery of local health walk projects. PFA invests in
projects which build local capacity, delivering a volunteer
led solution to improving physical activity levels. PFA plays
a crucial role in learning from projects all over Scotland
and sharing these experiences in order to improve practice.
The PFA Grant Fund has been made possible through funding
from the Scottish Government. £200 000 is available
in 2011/12. The PFA target audience is women over 45 and men
and women over 65.
How
much money is available?
Small
and Large Grant Applications
Grants will be awarded to projects that show the potential
to increase physical activity levels within their target group
(women over 45 and men and women over 65).
For community based work they have small (up to £5,000)
and large (up to £30,000 with 50% match funding) grants
available.
Please read the detailed Paths
for All Grant Guidance, including the terms and conditions
and scoring matrix.
An example Timeline
of Health Walk Projects is also available to assist your
