Energyshare Fund

This fund is run by British Gas which is committed to distributing £3m via the energyshare fund to community renewable projects over the next 3 years.

What is the funding for?
Energyshare are looking to fund inspiring projects which will save or generate energy; will benefit the local community and have some aspect which can realistically be achieved within a year

How much money is available?
The maximum grant will be £100,000 and gaining support on the community group's energyshare web page will be an important factor for success.

Who can apply?
community groups, who need to register on the Energyshare website where the group must create a profile for themselves on the website before applying

When to apply
After registered a group needs to apply for funding before May 31st, 2011.
