The Clore Performing Arts Awards

The Clore Duffield Foundation has launched this Programme with the chief aim of providing children and young people with opportunities to experience performing arts education at its best.

What is the funding for?

The Clore Small Grants Programme funds performing arts education initiatives aimed at children and young people (aged 0-18) across the UK. The Programme will be worth a total of £1 million to the sector over a five-year period from 2005 to 2010.

The funders are looking for creative projects with young people aged up to 18.
The Awards will fund education programmes that cover every aspect of the performing arts including opera, dance, music, musical theatre, the spoken word and theatre

How much money is available?
Ranging from £1,000 to £10,000, for upto 3 years, but the budget must not exceed £30,000.

Who can apply?
Organisations who are either a registered charity or a limited company, professional and amateur arts organisation, Educational institutions from pre-schools through to further education levels, voluntary youth groups, and any group promoting all aspects of the performing arts.

When to apply
Please note the deadline for Round 9 is 11 March 2009 and the deadline for the final round of funding is 16 September 2009.
